Rods transmit rotation and pull

Core drill rods transmit rotation and pull from the rig to the downhole tooling, while providing a passage for the inner tube assembly. Rods form the drill string; the inner tube inside the core barrel holds the core. These are different components.

Match the corresponding model

Connections are matched through the corresponding rod and existing-tooling model. Matching models provide the intended connection, without making thread selection a separate routine option. For replenishment, give the current model; end photographs can help identify an unclear marking.

Plan with dimensions and unit mass

NQ, HQ and PQ rod outside diameters are 70.5, 89.0 and 114.3 mm, with 1.5 m and 3 m lengths. The tables give bore, wall thickness and net mass to help plan material weight. Connections still follow the corresponding model, without a separate routine thread choice.
